I find the offer to customers very disappointing. There is a real risk that they will permanently alienate some of their most loyal customers. The offer is bad business practice, morally dubious and a sign of desperation.
QFX is not an appropriate stock to offer novice retail investors. I hope no one takes up the offer or if they do they are, at least, aware of and happy with the gamble they are taking. Langsford et al. need to find a significant investor with deep pockets and willingness to fight.
