Why uncanny? TA is a self-fulfilling prophesy to a large extent. Everyone's read the theory, anyone can read the charts. So everyone sees the support, and evreyone stops selling and starts buying. Works especially well with blue-chips.
Don't take this as criticism of your trading or TA for that matter. I'm just rying to offer one possible explanation of why it works.
