My 2c worth (as a previous holder who saw through the smoke and mirrors very early in the great deception) is that both these deals allow NMG to survive - for now. But neither of them is going to revive the SP.
I doubt either of them will bring the SP back up to anything respectable because I can't see the current team being successful in moving on those 3,000 villagers (does anyone understand how difficult that is going to be?) and then on top of that the plant issues. The problem with the crusher will be followed by problems with other equipment that is probably sitting there in the dirt, wind & rain being ignored while this whole thing is transpiring.
All RSG and/ or Z want is to position themselves to take it all over when it falls flat on it's face - for peanuts.
