Wasn't it Plato who said "kids these days have no respect". Just consider that before you complain how bad the world has become.
The other thing is I hope the people who don't have kids for the good if he earth aren't the same ones who complain about immigrants taking over Australia. Because if you stop and think about it by not having kids you are reducing our gene pool while they are expanding theirs at exponential rates.
