Not sure about the humour listing. Maybe there needs to be irony column
I think the Irish famine is relevant as before the famine it was overpopulated. Large families on small lots were unsustainable. Even before the famine some landholders were paying their tenants free passage to America.
One lesson I have learnt through life is that good intentions are not enough or an excuse.
Being the humour column I should have a joke but I can't think of what to write. Zero void zilch
