Years ago I had a diesel Toyota 4Runner (HiLux frame) that I took to a Toyota service centre to get serviced. When I returned to pay the bill, I noticed an item for servicing the electronic ignition. I asked the rep behind the counter to check with the workshop, because I did not believe that they serviced the electronic ignition. The rep went to the workshop and came back in a few minutes. He confirmed that the work had in fact been done.
I then asked him how can a diesel with no electronic system in it have its electronic ignition ignition serviced. The rep then apologised and said there must have been a clerical error. He deleted that particular item from the bill.
