Its just someones idea of what is correct, this is then put into your head as a kid at school and carried through life.

Maybe texting language is actually an improvement to English, its quicker using less letters but is still able to communicate the same message?

There are loads of different language around the world, non are more or less correct than the other. Just different forms of communication.

My school teachers hated me, particularly my English teachers..........but the feeling was mutual.
