Good points there asanque. I would expect the directors will be insured, as will the auditors.
However I do not know what clauses are in the insurance policies, and whether the insurance co for the auditors argues that they were given inacurate/deceptive information etc.

Also will the defendents and their insurers have to sue the insurers after making a payout to collect on their coverage?

Big expenses if it drags on.
