That work program is subject to JV approvals. The wells don't even have proper names (Well 1, Well 2 etc). Unless they have the rigs, May would be infeasible anyway.
If I was Chevron and BPT, I would wait until Holdfast 2 results before committing to anything. They have a lot of the geological information they need now anyway.
Also, if they want to turn the screws on Icon, a more leisurely pace in 855 might be their preference. Especially if Beach now 'don't' want to exercise that option (see Jake's post).
Until there is a joint announcement regarding the forward drilling program (i.e. without the words, 'subject to JV approval), I would take it with a grain of salt.
I know I am being a 'half glass full' guy, but, over ten years, I've seen this sort of bluster before (e.g. GSA announcement). And, I suppose, I am still kicking myself for not being more cynical, earlier.
