Ideally they should have been softly trying to persuade you to upgrade way before now.
Can I ask what the $ value of your subscription is?
The only thing I can think of is that maybe they haven't pursued you due to having bigger fish to fry. Which is still crap from a customer experience POV but reality is that every company has limited resources.
