10 years ago when I resided in Sacramento I use to trade with Scottrade.
I mainly day traded USA electric utilities (made stuff all money out of it )
I would have thought given I have known you have been trading on the ASX for many years (Kangaroo mines Tasmania tin we were both in) you are better using all the knowledge you have gained on Australian stocks.
The American investers have just as many hassles as Australia from my experience.
I was fortunate I knew some in the industry I was trading in so got a feel for a company's viability.
