You may very well be proud of your son Terry, however the market does not share your allegiance nor the board's prudence in electing Matt to the number one position.
The big problem with the way UMC's board is structured atm is that anyone within the board can pretty well much self elect themself to any position unchallenged.
Surely a CEO who has an opportunity to address a packed room of shareholders will endeavour to explain his/her plans to drive the company forward.
Hell, I'm sure most, if not all, who attended the AGM knew both the historical movement of the sp and UMC's current financial position.
Other than the above I was very pleased with this year's AGM and the future prospects of both projects.
