Chinese stockpiler looks to buy copper and nickel

The state-owned commodity stockpile has stated that it will buy around 300,000 tonnes of copper and 150,000 tonnes of nickel.the quantity of nickel purchase would equate to almost 50% of the LME nickel stocks. The move by the Chinese state authority is expected to push higher the prices of these commodities.
