Whenever I fill out online forms, I admit to feeling somewhat inferior whenever I write "Mr" as my title. So, I'm going to do something about it.
I'm going to form a church and give myself the title "Archbishop". (Why stop at plain Bishop?)
I'm not too sure what's involved. Do I have to register it? Has anyone on this forum done the same? Do we in Australia get a parsonage allowance as they do in the US?
Are there any legal impediments, I wonder? At least the church would start off with a clean slate. No child abuse baggage in my church!
I haven't yet thought what I will call it or what we would worship. Plenty of scope here I would think.
Maybe I could invite other Hot Copperites in too. Give yourselves an Archbishopric (isn't that a lovely word?) when joining up. Maybe I could float it on the ASX?
Any ideas anyone?
