Back in 2006 BHP retraced 3/8 of the uptrend, held a triple bottom at that level and congested into a tighter and tighter range until it exploded out to the upside. That is not the case this time around. If it's still a cyclical bull market then I'd expect it to range sideways between here and $50 for a couple of year... but if it's severe inflation then all of my bets are off.
