Rudd - election 1 - December 2007, Howard the PM opponent then, not Abbott.

Gillard - election 2 - August 2010 - Tony Windsor and Rob Oakeshott (allegedly under first cousin of Windsor's, Bruce Hawker's, influence,) (Hawker the head honcho of the whole Labor juggernaut then, and now - he now running Rudd's total campaign manager) - chose Gillard, over Abbott - the people didn't chose Gillard.

In fact, had Fran Bailey not resigned of exhaustion from the Victorian seat of McEwen, a few months before the election of 2010, after her mammoth efforts for survivors of Black Saturday fires had worn her out - Gillard would not have "got in!".

Abbott - election 3 - due September 7th 2013. The FIRST election Abbott has fought which hopefully will NOT result in a hung parliament, open to manipulation by alleged pseudo
"independents" - such a Windsor and Oakeshott. Whose decisions were based on sheer polticical hatreds of anything NP.

So no, he hasn't won an election. But is just about to.
    Thank the Lord!
