i believe the carnage will happen before rates even start going up, every where i go and everyone i talk to in the construction industry here in WA is worried, i hear new stories everyday now of business's going broke. A boutique home builder i spoke to last week at a job personally knows of 4 of his builder mates that went broke last month. Today i find out 2 roofing companies went broke within the last few weeks, both employed over 30 roofers each. Another company i used to work for has told there workers within the next 2 weeks they need to take their holiday pay or go on unpaid leave or be made redundant.
There are other things i wont say on a public forum that i have found out but i believe we need to overhaul the entire system. the tax system and a large proportion of the laws, the government has lost control of the economy
