    1) Most of the time there is no waiting because the EV is charged at home, often at minimal cost from your own PV.
    The bulk of the populace have a car to drive to work ------so NOT charged at home off the PV
    2) If you do need to use a charger on a longer trip just lock it up, walk away and attend to the essentials or do something else for a while.
    Would rather be on the road than stopping 10 times to get to my destination. Road trips are about ave speed , not top speed.
    Can only drink so many coffees. No much to see when you are out the back of shitville listening to the diesel genny charging your car..FYI...your ev gets the same economy as a diesel

    3) Your reduced servicing time and cost will make you wonder why you didn't swap to an EV years ago.
    replacing the tyres twice as much due to lard arse weight & Insurance premiums through the roof..

    None of which makes a compelling reason to buy.

    If you want to save the planet just keep your current ICE.
