Placebos are for trials of treatments.
All participants in a treatment trial need to go into their schedule knowing they may not be receiving the drug at all. This rules out the majority of placebo effect.
IBX's trial is not testing a medicine or treatment. It's not potentially making patients 'better.'
There is no risk of the efficacy being compromised by placebo effect.
