Cost of Base load power from fossil fuels namely cheap brown coal/ black coal power plants are now competitively being matched by large scale solar with battery storage.
Which option will developing countries take if funding is provided by developed nations to reduce carbon emissions.
2020 climate change agreement is ratified .
Australia still needs to agree but with the closure of Hazelwood and political pressure could see a large scale solar uptake in the latrobe valley.
