Bag holding is where u get a narrow spread bar on high volume sometimes gapped down sometimes not and not a lot of downward movement, kinda like the opposite of capping at the top of the chart. As if someone (the SM) are holding out their bag and just collecting all the shares into it from panicked sellers...
