Imdex (IMD) manufactures drilling products and provides technical services to mining, oil and gas, waterwell, drilling and civil industries.
Australian Mud Company (AMC):AMC supplies drilling fluids, chemicals and services to drilling industries in more than 25 countries, including Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Eastern Europe.
Imdex Minerals:Imdex Minerals operates a multipurpose industrial mineral processing plant in Jandakot in WA. The plant operates in five broad categories: toll milling, custom packaging, agricultural products, sand & gravel packs, micaceous iron oxide and silica flour. Two ceramic lined ball mills have been commissioned which can dry grind minerals to flour sizes. Agricultural products processed include limesand, limestone and gypsum. Micaceous iron oxide is processed at IMDs mine at Mr Gould in WA and exported to the USA, Japan, Asia United Kingdom and Europe.
Surtron Technologies:Surtron provides services such as downhole surveying, geophysical logging, steering and directional drilling to mining and civil construction industries in Australian, Africa and Asia Pacific.
RTE/Imdex Saudi Arabian Joint Venture (49%):Based in Dubai the joint venture with Rashid Trading Establishment (RTE) supplies drilling fluids, chemicals and services to oil and gas industries operating in Saudi Arabia. In July 2004 IMD announced a restructure of the joint venture into Imdex Arabia Limited, where IMD would hold a 20% interest.
ACE Drilling Products and Rentals:ACE Drilling Products and Rentals offers a range of downhole equipment for sale, repair and hire. This includes diamond drilling products, drilling pipe, hammers and a range of drilling consumable items.
