Slowly the cracks in the EU are appearing and the reversal of union seems to be well and truly underway. Fragmentation, unemployment and recession bring back memories of 80 odd years ago.
Next year will prove difficult as regional European situations deteriorate. Spain's massive debt rollover in July may create problems inconceivable 5 years ago. Large banks may just have to become insolvent and there is the very real prospect of population migrating within Europe for economic reasons.
America's economic problems added to Europe's will make the next 24 months the most amazing and destablising since the mid 1940's.
