I am coming from another Co targeted by these IMF dudes and all you have said about class action and lack of return in the end is my experience also.Dont tell the litigants that you'll be worn down after years of litigation that you will take anything just to end the drama.
My worry is that directors will find it increasingly difficult to get insurance if disgruntled shareholders get led into litigation in this falling market.
I would like to see the insurance companies using their power by writing insurance cover that excluded shares traded on margin calls...thus decreasing the atractiveness to loan against shares.
This has been a real problem in the co that I follow.
The register is weakened by large shareholders having their shares sold as the stocks are shorted.
One thing feeds on the other.
