Very different. You can trust gold, as the shoddy bloke around the corner can't just keep printing the stuff, take all your goods in return for his bog roll called paper money which is worthless as he hasn't created anything except 80gsm waste.

It'll only be good for wiping stuff, not for fertiliser cause everybody has paper money, but realises it is worth nothing.
