Yes have linked the correct article/paper. The link that I suggest is that in the last Nash trial the use of IMM-124e/Travelan caused a statistically significant reduction in LPS and ALT which are cytokines.

The paper I have linked relates to finding that raised levels of LPS are implicated in inflammatory disease response in the lungs.

One of the things that apparently occurs in Covid-19 is that there is a wide spread uncontrollable inflammatory response across the lungs and body generally as a result of over stimulation of cytokines leading to organ failure.

The use of normal anti inflammatory medications has proven problematic so it might be that if you can keep your LPS and ALT levels within a low normal range you might stand up better to a Covid-19 type viral infection.

It is noted in Covid-19 the elderly and those with existing heart and or lung disease are more at risk and elevated LPS & ALT are common in this cohort.

My lay opinion only so treat it as such.
