Ouch, this publicity is going to start to hurt. ANZ claim innocent party, sure, the courts are going to believe that you would lend a billion dollars without looking at the accounts or material as to how the shares were obtained from the public. The new revelations of the structure of the financial accounts with the clients being debtors is interesting.
ANZ are kidding themselves if they think they can escape this ordeal.
