Immediate Near-Term in historical context

It is instructive to review their three prior 4Cs.  The first bullet point in the first two was about the contract they were negotiating with a major areospace organisation, whereas it was the second bullet point in the last 4C.

On the 31st Oct'16 the first bullet point of their 4C said "... is in negotiations to execute an agreement with a major areospace organisation designed to provide the scale and path to securing global licensing/royalty revenue for CVM ...". Note that there was no mention of either the word immediate or near term.

This was followed on the the 31st Jan '17 with the first bulletbpoint of that 4C stating that "... is continuing with ongoing negotiations and contractual review related to the ultimate execution of a strategic agreement with a major aerospace organisation ..... Whilst this agreement was not executed prior to the 31st December 2016, as envisaged, the company remains very positive regarding the current state and maturity of negotiations, and looks forward to visible completion of proceedings, and execution of the agreement." Again no use of the words immediate or near term.

Then on the 28th April 2017, the first bullet point of that 4C again refers to the agreement stating "... continued to progress its ongoing negotiations and contractual review relating to the execution of a strategic agreement with a major aerospace organisation." Importantly they go on to state in the second paragraph of page 4 that "The company continues to progress  ongoing negotiations and contractual review related to the ultimate execution of a strategic agreement with a major aerospace organisation.  The company will continue to update the market with material updates as they come through in the near term." Note that this was the first time they used the words NEAR-TERM, but it was still not with the word IMMEDIATE.

This brings us to the most recent announcement on the 31st July 2017 when they stated in the second bullet point that "... expects to provide complete, and final, details regarding the execution of this extremely important, and "company making", agreement to the market in the immediate near-term." Note that this was the first time they not only used the words immediate and near-terms, but they also underlined for emphasis the word immediate.

It would make no sense to follow up with a subsequent announcement within days of that last update, as it would've made sense to simply wait those few days and announce it then.  All up it would be reasonable to assume that there will be an announcement made about an agreement with a major aerospace organisation within weeks, not months.
