People wander why their wages are not growing and why their houses are so expensive..
ANSWER is here we have Disproportionate level of Immigration and very low tax on foreign buyers ...
We are nor anti-immigration county BUT we are for sustainable immigration which does not:
1. Choke out infrastructure
2. Does not put pressure on our wages
3. Does not put upwards pressure on our housing
Looks at schools , roads.. we absolutely chocked our cities Melb and SYD to the benefit of only few (read big corporates)
So, vote for the party and write to your MPs who will lead us to sustainable immigration policy..
Second, Foreign money like it here... for many reasons this $$ come here.. but we do not charge enough as a nation to
1. Store this funds here... this puts pressure again on housing prices
2. Learn from Canada .. 15 % tax on foreigners buying out right.
So , make it 20% in Australian capital cities...
Local people need to fight back .. there many of us.. we just have to be more active...
