It's a well know fact a lot of these "skilled immigrants" on 457 visas are filling jobs flipping burgers at McDonalads and packing shelves at Coles......the whole system is a farce. Young Australians used to get these jobs but now employers would prefer to use 457 via holders and working holiday makers instead. Employers need to be forced to give preference to Australian workers first, that is not the case at the moment. Kudos to the government if they are finally cracking down on this rorting of the system.
