Hi Pete,
It is not just immigration that is in a shambles , it is a lot more. The NBN program is a total mess now and all but destroying TLS shareprice and unnecessarily wasting many billions in the process.The Greens have way too much power and are in the process of totally messing up the Tax system, with pressure on to tax the miners more than even Labor proposed, and also to introduce a few other taxes such as death duties/estate tax etc. Then there is the out of control Carbon Tax. We are currently in a state of gridlock with the danger of many silly ideas and new taxes sneaking through parliament with the help of the independants who have little education or experience and are easily swayed by whoever tells the best story. At this point the main culprits are the three country bumkins and the dissaffected low level ex intelligence analyst.(the fact that this guy got into the intell service is a real worry in itself).
So, all of the conditions for a "perfect storm" are gathering in the halls of parliament.After the storm we will have destroyed much that we value, including our economy , our values, and our standing in the world.
The best way to stop this mess is to vote only for one of the major parties,....no greens , no independants.
