To government immigration is their no brainer way of keeping the economy ticking over and keeps wages down for business though for the people who already live here it's pushes up living costs,property,road congestion and keeps our wages lower.
It can help but at the current rate it's actually damaging to our standard of living and yes the government is drunk on this method because they have long been out of ideas to improve the economy any other way.
If only we had Prime Minister with some spine and brains that could make Australia great again.Haha!
