Wow some of the rubbish written on this topic is really dumbfounding.
Immigration will continue in this country into the future. 50 Million seems like a reasonable number over the next 25-50 years.
Most of them will not be Anglo Saxon derivatives but Chinese, Indian and Africans. The place we knew as kids ...i.e. 11 Million in 1970 is gone forever. In truth I preferred it but for Australia to grow both economically and as a Nation State we have to have bigger numbers.

Slave trade my ass. Australia is a HIGH wage country. Kiwis cannot get here quick enough and it is a paradise for the Chinese and Indians who work hard driving taxis running petrol stations etc. As others have said for those that have a crack Australia truly is the lucky country.
There is no over supply of anything in Australia. The Technology age is only 20-30 years old...it has many more legs. Technology is changing the World as did the Industrial age. The movement of people has never been greater on the planet in its entire history. They move because the Western Lifestyle is the Best thing going. Wage theft is predominately a media beat up. Sure some employers rip off their employees always have always will. However sound business practices prevail even though we live in a country with too many rules and regulations that put barriers in front of business owners. Spoke to a bloke the other day...for picking up paper and small item rubbish he picks up $842 clear a week...yeh slave labor BS. The guy loves his lifestyle while his wife is a FIFO worker. As long as we do not allow the Socialists to suck this country dry we will be fine...Tku
