The 'so what' is that a lot of jobs will disappear. This will be a less of a problem if we bring immigration back to sensibly levels. Look at how good the jobs market is now with the immigration hiatus. Also in the past such as the post war migration waves we had protected industries with plenty of semi skilled jobs on offer. Things like home brewing are also more of a hobby and hard to make a living out of due the mass production you have to compete with. It's very dangerous to dream about a technological utopia and ignore all the economic and environment downsides of high population growth. I'm just being realistic.
