There needs to be far more scrutiny of visa applicants from regimes like Modi’s, perhaps all such visas should be disallowed due to the horrendous security risk as realised by Canada who are now slowing visas from the land of Modi’s regime right down and refusing student visas or delaying them so much, they go away and rescind their applications.

Australia should follow Canada’s lead after the Hardeep Singh Nijjar assassination.

I fully agree with you in regards to foreign interference from criminal Indian government. This is not the first time they did it. In 2009, Australian punished India by refusing student visas. Worker shortfall was met with Nepal, Bangladesh and Philippines students. End of the day as a rich country, we do not care who serves our interest and why would we care?
India will be punished, she so richly deserves.
