Imminent annoucement?

Reading the BRN threads today, it seems many posters here are crying out for an announcement regarding Akida. I think I can provide hope to HC posters as an announcement regarding Akida is surely only minutes to hours away.

On 17 August 2020, BrainChip announced they were partnering with Magik Eye to “market a breakthrough solution for object detection, object classification and gesture recognition…” based on Magik Eye and Akida technology (see link above).

In that announcement, BrainChip advised “This partnership is for one year and can be extended by mutual consent of the parties”.

When discussing the partnership, the former CEO, Louis Di Nardo, described the upside as “very, very significant” (see here from the 3.43 mark). His words clearly show he saw this Partnership as materially important to BrainChip.

It is approaching a year since the Partnership was announced, and presumably BrainChip are going to announce whether the Partnership has been extended or not any minute now.

I'm sure everyone here is waiting with bated breath...
