Monepantel is a viral protease inhibitor. In late Sep 2020 we entered Leiden at WP5 and have remained there for 6 months. The tests at Leiden are each designed to unravel a little more mode of action detail. As I understand it, Leiden is trying to attain the assay characteristics required to both run the full spectrum of WP3 assays and to progress to WP6 organoid work. Six weeks ago the "solution" must have looked close, but the outcome can't have been acceptable. "Imminent" has turned into that all to regular non-imminent cone of silence.
