    I agree, plus the gravy is very important...and the sauces

    I like my potatoes, crispy on the outside and melting in the middle...so I par boil them...about 15 minutes...you do not want them to be too soft, then into the oven...

    and for some reason, I do not like the pumpkin skin left on...

    for years we did roast lamb as a favourite...but I dislike it now.....I much prefer the frozen turkey breast, with cranberry sauce...(not the thigh which is very different in taste), or roast beef...

    I like pork loin chops, with apple sauce...the sauce is a must have

    I have not tried any of the Aldi roasts or other meats...but the rump steak I buy for the dog, is oh so tender , and just $10.00 a kg....
    my brother bought the special pork roast last week, and he did not like it...probably due to the herbs and spices they had inserted in it..
