Why do you think it's a quantum leap? DomaCom is effectively a 'deep' tech company, with the 'deep' being the complex legal manoeuvring to get a product of this significance to market. It's completely normal for a deep tech to take this long to start gaining traction and will need to raise significant capital over their lifetime to reach product market fit. Equity release was only approved a few months ago after 6 years in development - hence I think viewing them through that lens is completely understandable.
