Impact Minerals MD, Dr Michael Jones, is preparing to address more than 300 attendees at the two-day Mines and Money Connect conference in Melbourne on June 14-15.
I expect Jones to update the conference on what’s happening with the transformational HPA play at Lake Hope, WA.
Does he still think IPT owns 'The Perrfect Deposit'? Is there a revised exploration target beyond 4.7MT? Is he still expecting to build a pilot processing plant next year? Will its capacity be 10 tpa…or some other figure?
And what of the group’s application for a critical minerals grant? Success?
In a sequel to Dr Jones’s address, IPT may post a ~20pp Investor Presentation on the ASX platform.
Given the conference is being held in Melbourne, Dr Jones may have a chance to meet with senior exploration management at BHP’s Melbourne head-office.
Four months ago - in January - IPT announced that it had become one of seven successful applicants to tap the money and mentoring resources of BHP’s Xplor division.
Dr Jones flagged the spending of $US500k on assembling field evidence to support a new mafic magmatic-hydrothermal model for BH that implies up to >100MT of copper is “waiting to be found”.
Now, Dr Jones is inviting visitors to IPT’s Investor Hub to join him at the conference.
And he’s offering an incentive – a 15% discount on ‘delegate passes’.
