Talking my own book would be if I had a short position in Waypoint, I don't and wouldn't at this price because it's not expensive. However, the price I would buy WPT at is significantly below the current SP, so I do not even have an interest in trying to be a "downramper".
The tenant, Viva Energy, would be acutely aware of the EV penetration and monthly sales at all their sites. They won't begin negotiating harder on leases when EV has become an issue, they'll begin worrying when the rise in EV penetration suggests that it will become an issue in 5-10yrs as these are the lengths of their leases and options in most cases.
Like most succesful fund managers, Roger is a great salesman and wordcel but think you'll find his track record as an investor is sub index level. Would suggest people think for themselves rather than listen to career investors who have never been at the coalface in any of the industries they speak so authoritatively on.
