They are awful stats if you are a patient. Prognosis of 7% and even with a chemo and /or radio treatment regime only extending life for a limited period with quite some discomfort for the most part. Sometimes I think an IV morphine pump and a graceful exit around loved ones at home is better. Anyway that's another topic.
If either SRX or OSL can find an in-situ radioactive treatment to halt, regress and or even remove liver tumours (or pancreas, gall bladder, kidney, l&s intestines, etc.) and then overlayed with regenerative treatment to rebuild the organ tissue it would be awesome but I still feel current research approach and trials aren't getting to a decent beta beyond existing treatment regimes.
Again, if, OSL or SRX find a way of treating an aberrant liver condition that ensures no lesser results that through existing treatment but at a lower cost then that will get uptake across various medical communities.
