Which experts have predicted $45?
RIO uses $65, Mac Bank uses $200, UBS uses $160.
NM at a recent conference in Melb said the company will be using RIO's forecast.
Agreed the spike in Sulphur prices will change the economics (hence not a "non issue" totally) but it's far from a show stopper.
Personally I think what we are seeing here is a sudden shock to the supply/demand system....it will even itself out in the long run. If mining becomes uneconomical due to sulphur then production will decrease...and demand for sulphur will decrease....and guess what happens to the price?
Again my opinion only.
