impact on glng

I'm loving this news and can't help thinking about what the GLNG players will make of it.

This might be drawing a long bow but I'm wondering if the prospect of an alternative LNG facility in Newcastle might have a negative impact on GLNG and its viability/profitability? If potential customers know an alternative source is coming that must impact negotiations and it must also impact the sentiment of investors.

I'm not suggesting that the prospect of NLNG is going to stop GLNG being viable but even if it makes things a bit more difficult for the big boys in Gladstone then I think we can expect ESG to be taken out pretty quick smart.

I'd be interested in the views of some of the more savvy people on the site (which is most of you!)
