I bought the AFR today to look at this matter. For 100 dollars borrowed, CCV charges flat fee 35 dollars. They have claimed they make a 10 percent margin only on this. With the new changes, they can only charge 12 dollars. This will no longer be feasible. In addition these lenders will be required to inform customers of alternative not for profit organizations. This does not look good especially for CCV with such large portion of income from this area. Really CCV is no longer a retailer and more a dangerous financial. I am a holder, but will not be putting more cash in.
