Another thing to add to Luckycanuck's post is this.
Have a look at EZCORP in the USA. It has continued to surge last 2 nights in the US, even with this significant fall and risks to its major holding. In addition there has been no notifications to the SEC re material changes and nothing in their news section either. I presume they will wait for formal news rather than proposals. The degree of government interference in business in Australia, must be quite surprising for some of these foreign investors in Australian companies. The green hand in so many of these decisions, is a terrible long term result for this country.
