I've put my relative strength ratio chart up many times. The price of NCM doesn't track the AUD gold price, it follows the US gold price and the premium is not budging. You would need to see a major capitulation (free fall like with the iron ore price) in the US gold price to see NCM in the 7's again. Gold would have to be trading sideways below NCM's cash costs for a long time (weeks to months) before a major shake down in the price occurred IMO. Fundamentals never seem to catch up with stock. I'm still waiting for some type of capitulation, which never seems to come, so I can jump in for a trading opportunity as I'm still a firm believer in the gold upside story.
