There was a Bit of Preamble earlier in the week and I think it involves investments of 100million or more. The Chinese want the amount raised to 1Billion but the Federal Gov wants time to think about it and have asked them to resubmitt their application.
I know specifically Sino Steel and Midwest were the focus and felt it was Predominately aimed at Mid Cap Iron Ore in WA.
Not to say it could not Affect Republic if we ever work out what is the Project in Question. If it is Bolivia then there is no Problem but a Large Scale operation at Burraga may have some issues.
My Personal opinion is that it is aimed at Protecting BHP and Rio and is Iron Ore related
