The SP was knocked down this morning by a sale of 250,000 shares from a seller who seems to have been fairly impatient. They took out everything down to $0.165, then after waiting half an hour, said screw it, and dropped the price to $0.16 for the remaining 39,000 shares. Buyers came back at $0.165 a bit later on. I wonder if the seller is Milford Asset Management, selling down more of their now sub 5% holding. They appeared as substantial holder after the rights issue last year, so presumably they bought a bunch of shares at $0.11.
This morning's trades aside, the sp has been fairly well supported lately, with closes at $0.175 starting to be a bit of a habit, and that is where the sell bid finished today. This morning's sale looks like the action of someone who wanted the cash for something else, rather than a patient sale in this fairly illiquid stock, so I am hoping the sale is low on information content, but it is a bit of a worry this close to the results. Confession season is over now. Good, bad or indifferent, the results will be in fairly soon (supposedly prelim circa 28 Aug).
