I am simply surprised why this announcement had such a muted reception in the market. Investors are sophisticated well-informed beasts. We are talking about a 200 million dollar company providing a breakthrough solution for its third-largest addressable market (that is just cherry on top for them).
Either, we are in complete darkness (e.g., this is a fraud or useless given biotech advances, etc), or we will see violent rerates in a few years.
For the life of me, I can't understand how Polynovo (with 3-4 serious competitors that I know of) must be six times the market cap of IPD. Is everybody going to lose their skin every year? Do we have more cancer treatment recipients (plus heart and renal) or skin burns?
